"The Effectiveness of a Stereotactic Radiosurgery Boost in the Initial Treatment of Patients with Glioblastoma Multiforme (RTOG 93-05)"
All patients receive conventional radiation therapy and intravenous BCNU (carmustine). Patients are randomized to either receive or not receive a stereotactic boost after surgery and before radiation therapy.
Patients under age 18 and over the age of 70 are excluded.
