Ependymomas
|
Ependymomas are glial tumors that are often malignant and generally seen in children and young adults. These tumors arise from the wall of the ventricle and usually produce signs of hydrocephalus and increased intracranial pressure. Posterior fossa (fourth ventricle) ependymomas also can produce ataxia, neck stiffness and intractable vomiting. |
